Shelby Mitchell is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia. Shelby has years of experience in treating children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. She has a passion for supporting individuals through their healing journey and prioritizes creating a safe and supportive environment to process life's challenges. Shelby utilizes nature, creative and mindfulness based practices to promote healing and advancement in her client's lives. She has a unique perspective as a counselor to also be well trained and passionate about psychological testing. Outside of work, Shelby enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, kayaking, bouldering and traveling.
